I Won’t. Don’t Ask Me.

It has come to the snurchin’s attention that, at a recent National Adoption Awareness event in Sydney, an adoptee gave “a passionate speech about the opportunities and love he was given by his adopted family.”

Oh, I know that one. When you’re small it goes “Ladies and Gentlemen–”

When you’re older, you realize how little you fit in no matter how hard  you try. But ya gotta try. “This is for you, Mom and Dad!”

Finally the artifice of the thing becomes obvious, and one’s legs get sore.

Yay adopted happiness. Can I sit down now?

Then comes the sweet release of death, and OH HELL NO you have got to be–really?!

Death is no excuse for ingratitude, fellow Bastards! [sigh] HELLO MAH BABY….
